BetBay Casino: A September 2026 Launch With 33 Sister Sites on One Malta Licence

BetBay Casino logo, the red lightning-bolt b and BETBAY wordmark on a dark slate background, an online casino launched in September 2026

BetBay went live in early September 2026, a red-on-slate casino and sportsbook trading at betbay.io. It looks like a fresh start, but it is the latest shopfront of a Maltese company that has held its gaming licence since 2013, and the regulator publishes every web address that licence covers. That list names 33 other casinos, so BetBay arrives with one of the largest families we have been able to confirm from an official record.

We read the whole of the BetBay terms, the bonus rules and the cashier, counted the game library studio by studio, and set the site side by side with SpinStag, its July sibling. The result is a clear picture of what is new here and what is shared. You can also find it on our list of new casinos, and there are plenty of other casino sites to browse a little further down.

A note for readers in Britain. BetBay holds a Malta Gaming Authority licence, not a UK Gambling Commission one, and its own terms list the United Kingdom as an excluded territory. GamStop does not reach it and a dispute would go to a Maltese arbitration service rather than a British one. This page describes the casino; it is not a suggestion to play there.

Thirty-Three Sisters, Straight From the Regulator

Most sister-site lists are built from clues: a shared terms document, a common affiliate scheme, a support address that slips. BetBay’s does not need any of that. The Malta Gaming Authority keeps a public authorisation page for each licensee, and the one for L.C.S Limited shows licence MGA/B2C/233/2013, issued on 2 July 2013 and still marked Licensed, followed by 37 approved web addresses. betbay.io is one of them, and the BetBay footer links straight to that page.

Three brands on the list appear twice, once with a hyphen and once without: SvenPlay, Sons of Slots and Slots Hammer. Take those out and 34 casinos remain, which gives BetBay 33 sisters. Three of them already have full reviews on this site, and the rest are named in the table below so you can see the whole family at once.

Sister casino Where it stands here
SpinStag Reviewed. Same platform, same welcome package, opened in July 2026
Kudosbet Reviewed. Same licence, same company
Go4Casino Reviewed. Listed first on the regulator’s page
SvenPlay, Sons of Slots, Nords Casino Pictured below or named on the same licence
BetnFlix, Wallacebet, Lapilanders, NucleonBet Named on the same licence
Betstro, Bets Amigo, BonusBet, 21.red Named on the same licence
Foggybet, Scibet, Scarabet, Betizy, Betrix Named on the same licence
LunarSpins, Lucky Trunk, Dazzlehand, Valhalla Wins Named on the same licence
ChalkWins, ScaraWins, TaikaSpins, FreeSpinza Named on the same licence
Slots Hammer, Rise of Bets, YugiBet, OneStep, Campeon Named on the same licence
Royal Rook (royalrook.io) Added to the licence since July; the site asks for a password

Five of the family are shown below, using the logos from their own homepages. SpinStag, Kudosbet and Go4Casino are the three with write-ups here.

One entry has changed since we last read the page in July. It then held 36 addresses; it now holds 37, and the newcomer is royalrook.io. That address was registered on 19 November 2025, the same day as betbay.io and spinstag.com, and for now it answers with a password prompt rather than a lobby. It looks very much like the next skin waiting its turn. A shared licence proves one company holds the permission for every name on the list; it does not prove one team runs them all day to day, and with brands pitched at markets from the Nordics to Latin America, that seems unlikely.

Inside the BetBay Lobby

BetBay Casino homepage screenshot from September 2026, showing the welcome casino package, the sports bonus and freebet panels, and a Trending Games row led by John Hunter and Book of Dead

The design is dark slate with a single loud colour, a coral red used for the wordmark, the buttons and the corner tabs on each promotion. The top of the homepage is a row of three offers, one for the casino and two for the sportsbook, and under it runs a Trending Games strip. When we looked it opened with Pragmatic Play’s John Hunter and the Tomb of the Scarab Queen, then Book of Dead, Lady Wolf Moon Megaways, 3 Witch Pots, Rise of Olympus 100 and Book of Ra Magic. Below that sits a large banner for Endorphina, which gets its own themed section.

The menu covers Casino, Live Casino, Sports, Promotions, Jackpots, Tournaments and VIP Rewards. Inside the casino there are shortcut shelves for bonus-buy slots, crash games, new games, top games and a VIP Specials row. Nothing about the layout is unusual, which is rather the point: it is a polished, familiar platform, and it has been used before.

The Same Machine as SpinStag

Put the BetBay and SpinStag homepages next to each other and strip away the colours, and there is very little left to tell them apart. Both link to the same 57 internal pages, route for route. The welcome package is the same 225% up to €1,500 with 500 free spins, split across three deposits in the same way. The weekday promotion calendar matches too, from a Monday reload to Friday free spins.

The giveaway is in the sports offers. Open BetBay’s Welcome Sports Bonus or Welcome Sports Freebet page and the title in the browser tab reads SpinStag, not BetBay. It is a harmless slip, but it tells you how these sites are made: one template, copied and re-coloured. That is not a criticism in itself, because a proven platform tends to work better than a home-made one. It does mean that what you read about SpinStag largely applies here, and the other way round.

8,284 Games From 77 Studios

BetBay’s About page promises more than 15,000 games. The studio directory inside the lobby adds up to 8,284 across 77 studios, and that is the figure we would rely on. It is still a large library by any standard. The biggest shelves are below.

Studio Games listed
Pragmatic Play 641
Yggdrasil 506
Play’n GO 472
Playtech 458
Wazdan 402
Hacksaw Gaming 375
Inspired Gaming 267
Betsoft 258
BGaming 241
Light & Wonder 238
Endorphina 230
Red Tiger 216

Yggdrasil and Playtech carrying around five hundred titles each is less common than it sounds, and Novomatic’s 162 games, Book of Ra Magic among them, give the lobby a strong German and Central European flavour. At the other end, Spribe has a single game, which will be Aviator for most people, and several smaller studios such as Slingo, Synot and Ino Games have fewer than ten each.

Bonuses and the Fine Print

The welcome package is paid over three deposits: 100% up to €250 with 50 spins, then 75% up to €500 with 100 spins, then 50% up to €750 with 350 spins. All 500 spins are on Big Bass Splash at €0.10 each, and the minimum deposit for each step is €25. Wagering is 35 times the deposit plus the bonus, not just the bonus, which roughly doubles the play-through compared with a bonus-only rule. Slots count in full, table games at 20%, and live casino not at all.

Two other rules deserve attention. The maximum stake with an active bonus is €5, and bets above that do not count and can cost you the winnings. There is also a €0.50 minimum stake, which is rarer, and spins below it do not count either. Sports players get a choice of a 100% match up to €100 at six times deposit plus bonus, or a €25 free bet on odds no longer than 5.00.

After that comes a promotion for most days of the week. Monday is a 100% reload up to €200, Friday is 350 spins on Gates of Olympus Super Scatter for a €50 deposit, and some markets also get a weekly cashback of up to 20% on net losses, capped at €5,000. A single deposit of €1,000 or more buys instant VIP status with a personal account manager.

Paying In and Cashing Out

The cashier adapts to where it thinks you are. We were connected through Finland, and it offered Visa, Revolut, Skrill, Paysafecard, Cashlib, Flexepin and Zimpler, alongside direct transfers from Finnish banks such as Nordea, OP, Danske, Aktia and S-Pankki. Most methods took €25 to €15,000 a time. Players elsewhere will see a different list.

Withdrawals are capped at €5,000 a day and €25,000 a calendar month. Wins above €30,000 can be paid in monthly instalments, which is standard on this platform but worth knowing before chasing a big jackpot. Approved payouts are processed within 72 hours, according to the terms, and an account left untouched for six months can be charged a €10 monthly dormancy fee, rising to €15 after two years.

Support, Safety and Complaints

Support runs around the clock by live chat and at support@betbay.io, in English, German, Spanish, Norwegian and Finnish. Complaints go to support first, with a reply promised within 10 days and a possible 10-day extension. After that, the terms point to MADRE, a free Maltese arbitration service whose decision is binding, and to the Malta regulator’s player support unit.

Where BetBay Shines and Where It Falls Short

The licence is the strongest thing about BetBay. It is real, old, checkable in a minute and published with every address it covers, which is far more than most casinos this young can show. The game library is deep, the studios are mainstream, the sportsbook is part of the same account, and the complaints route ends with a named independent body.

The weaker side is mostly about the small print and the lack of history. Wagering on deposit plus bonus is heavy, the €0.50 minimum bet rule is easy to miss, and the About page overstates the game count by nearly double. The withdrawal caps and instalment rule will matter to anyone who wins big. And a casino that is a few weeks old has no track record of its own, even if its sisters do.

Similar Options With a UK Licence

If what appeals is one wallet for casino and sport, Betfred and Coral both offer that under a UK Gambling Commission licence, with large slots sections that include plenty of the same Play’n GO, Pragmatic and Red Tiger titles. For the Book of Ra side of the lobby, Novomatic games are easiest to find at Admiral Casino, which belongs to the Novomatic group itself.

None of these will match a 500-spin welcome package, and that is partly the point. UK rules cap bonus wagering at ten times and require affordability checks, GamStop coverage and an approved dispute service, all of which a Malta-licensed site aimed at other markets does not have to offer British players.

BetBay Questions, Answered

When did BetBay open, and how do we know?

The best evidence points to early September 2026. CasinoFreak records the opening as 4 September. The betbay.io address changed hands on 19 November 2025, and every earlier copy in the web archive is a parking page left by a previous owner, so nothing suggests a casino ran on it before this year. The Malta regulator had already added the address to its licence list by late July.

Which company is behind BetBay?

L.C.S Limited. The footer gives its Maltese company number, C-64070, and an office in the Sterling Building in Ta’ Xbiex. Its name, company number and licence number are printed in the BetBay footer and again in clause 1.1 of the terms, and they match the regulator’s own record.

How many sister sites does BetBay have?

Thirty-three. The Malta Gaming Authority lists 37 approved web addresses under L.C.S Limited’s licence. Three brands appear twice under different spellings, which leaves 34 casinos, BetBay included. Three of the other 33 have their own reviews here: SpinStag, Kudosbet and Go4Casino.

Is BetBay just a copy of SpinStag?

Underneath, very nearly. The two homepages link to exactly the same 57 internal pages, the welcome package is identical down to the spin value, and two of BetBay’s sports promotion pages still carry SpinStag’s name in their browser titles. The logo, colours and address are what change.

How long does a BetBay welcome bonus stay open?

Each deposit bonus in the package sits in your account for 30 days before it expires, and you then have 30 days to wager it 35 times over deposit plus bonus. Free spins must be switched on within 7 days, and their winnings wagered within 48 hours. Live casino play does not count at all.

Will BetBay take a sign-up from someone in Britain?

No. The United Kingdom is on the list of excluded territories in clause 2.6.4 of the BetBay terms, alongside the United States, France, Spain, Italy and the Netherlands. With no British licence behind it, BetBay also sits outside the GamStop self-exclusion scheme.

Final Thoughts on BetBay

BetBay is a well-made casino on a licence that anyone can check, and its family of 33 sisters is written down by the regulator rather than pieced together from hints. The platform is proven, the library is broad, and the terms, while strict in places, are complete and readable.

It is also, quite openly, a copy of SpinStag with a new coat of paint. That is how L.C.S Limited works, and there is nothing wrong with it, but it means there is little here you could not find at one of the older sisters. For British readers the question does not arise, because the terms turn UK players away.

Our rating: 7 out of 10. A properly licensed launch with a documented family and a strong game library, held back by heavy wagering, withdrawal caps and no history of its own yet.
